Tooth extraction, or pulling a tooth, is a relatively quick outpatient procedure. There are a number of reasons why a tooth may need to be extracted, including wisdom teeth overcrowding, or damage from decay or injury that is too significant to repair. Extraction may be a necessary step to prevent infection.
At Summerville Dentistry, your wellbeing is our number one priority. During extractions, we aim to minimize discomfort by using local anaesthetic to numb the affected area. Our practitioners are focused on helping you feel calm and comfortable throughout your procedure.
